TAKEOVER OF PAKEA BY BLEMA GROUP

40 years ago, Pack Industrie was born, which over the years evolved into Pakea and more recently NSC Packaging. At the end of this year 2020, a page is turned ! We are pleased to announce that Pakea has now become part of the Blema group.

The Blema Group took over the company Pakea de France based in Mulhouse-Rixheim on December 3rd, 2020 with effect from January 1st, 2021. The acquisition further strengthens the position of the machine engineering group on the world market. The plan of the strategic family investors is not only to continue the existing product portfolio of machines for paper converting and packaging, but to improve it technologically. The factory location and the experienced employees remain at the Mulhouse-Rixheim site. The goal is further expansion and sustainable development over the next years.

The strategic management of Pakea de France is taken over by Uwe Leonhardt as Chairman and Sebastian Leonhardt as CEO in addition to their overall responsibility for the companies of the Blema Group. The former CEO of Pakea, Pascal Buzon, will become the company’s new COO.

The Leonhardt family invests sustainably in their own companies. The strategic focus is on packaging and processing machinery.
